Getting Started
How to use Reddeleter for the first time
1. Sign In with Reddit
Click the "Sign in with Reddit" button on the homepage. You'll be redirected to Reddit to authorize Reddeleter.
2. Review Your Content
Your posts and comments will be automatically imported. Review the AI analysis to understand your Reddit presence.
3. Apply Filters
Use filters to narrow down content by subreddit, date, score, keywords, or NSFW status.
4. Select and Delete
Select the items you want to delete, create a deletion job, and monitor progress in real-time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is deletion permanent?
Yes. Once content is deleted from Reddit, it cannot be recovered through Reddeleter or Reddit. Third-party archives may still retain copies.
How long does deletion take?
Deletion speed depends on Reddit's API rate limits. We process deletions at a safe pace to prevent account suspension. Expect approximately 1-2 items per second.
Will this get my account banned?
No. Reddeleter respects Reddit's API rate limits and uses official OAuth authentication. Deletion is a normal Reddit operation.
Can I delete content from specific subreddits only?
Yes. Use the subreddit filter to target specific communities, then select and delete only those items.
What happens to my data?
We store only your username and OAuth tokens. Job logs are purged after 30 days. Your Reddit content is not permanently stored.
How do I revoke access?
Visit Reddit's authorized apps page at reddit.com/prefs/apps and revoke Reddeleter's access. Your tokens will be invalidated immediately.
Troubleshooting
Content not loading
Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, sign out and sign back in to refresh your authentication tokens.
Deletion job stuck
Refresh the job page. If Reddit's API is experiencing issues, the job may be temporarily paused. It will resume automatically.
Some items failed to delete
Content from archived or locked threads may fail to delete. Reddit may also reject deletions if your account has restrictions.
