When you sign in with Reddit, we collect and store:

Reddit user ID
OAuth access and refresh tokens (encrypted)

Fetched directly from Reddit's API
Processed in real-time for filtering and analysis
Not permanently stored on our servers beyond 30 days

2.3 Job and Audit Logs

We store deletion job records and audit logs for up to 30 days, including:

Deletion job status and progress
Timestamps of actions performed
Success/failure records for individual deletions

2.4 Payment Information

For premium subscriptions, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. We only retain:

Stripe customer ID
Subscription status and billing cycle information

Authenticate your Reddit account via OAuth
Fetch and display your Reddit content
Process deletion requests according to your specifications

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption (AES-256). OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.3. We implement strict access controls and monitor our systems for security threats.

Data is stored in secure data centers within the European Union, operated by our third-party service provider Supabase.

We automatically purge audit logs after 30 days to minimize data retention.

Anthropic Claude: To provide AI-powered content analysis (Anthropic PBC, USA)

Stripe: For payment processing (Stripe Inc., USA/EU)

These services may transfer and process data outside the EU. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

9. Data Deletion

You can revoke Redeleter's access at any time by visiting Reddit's authorized apps page. Upon revocation, your OAuth tokens become invalid immediately.

To request complete deletion of your account data, contact us at boss@redeleter.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

10. Important Notes About Reddit Content Deletion

Deletion from Reddit is permanent and cannot be undone by Redeleter
Third-party archives (like Pushshift, Reveddit, etc.) may retain copies of deleted content
We have no control over external archives or caches
Google and other search engines may cache deleted content temporarily

11. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We also use analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) to understand usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

12. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

13. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). When we transfer data internationally, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
